About Me
I am a business etiquette trainer certified by The Emily Post Institute (http://emilypost.com)
My observations of workplace behavior throughout my business career inspired me to become a business etiquette trainer. In some cases, I've been fortunate to witness examples of excellent professional behaviors: positive interactions that built strong client relationships, meetings that maximized productivity and boosted confidence, and empathetic gestures by individuals that helped colleagues facing challenges. However, I've also observed examples of less desirable behaviors at work that adversely affected office culture and productivity: email miscommunication, gossip, and words or actions that (often inadvertently) made others uncomfortable.
Upon reflecting on my stories as well as the experiences of the professionals in my network, I decided to make it my mission to train companies on sound business etiquette practices to help individuals and companies maximize their success and to make organizations more enjoyable places to work. Because ultimately, that is what we all deserve.
About my background: I've worked in a variety of organizations across industries, including consumer products and professional services. Most recently, I've helped hundreds of applicants achieve admission to top business schools in the U.S. and abroad. I earned my MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business
and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Pennsylvania.
I am a published LinkedIn Learning author, and my course "Business Etiquette for the Modern Workplace" has been taken by over 88,000 learners.
I have been quoted in the Los Angeles Times, Bloomberg News, and the New York Post:
